Hola!
In May, we’re celebrating Cinco de Mayo, one of my favorite days of the year to honor my culture and heritage as a daughter of immigrant parents from Mexico.
Cinco de Mayo, a cherished tradition honoring the resilience and courage of the Mexican people, particularly those from Puebla, Mexico. Originating from the historic Battle of Puebla, where the brave inhabitants triumphed over the French forces, Cinco de Mayo is a symbol of Mexican pride and unity.
As a Mexican American with roots tracing back to Puebla, I am deeply passionate about sharing this rich cultural heritage with you.
Here is a photo of me and my mami posing in our traditional dresses from Mexico.
I am wearing the traditional dress for Poblana’s from Puebla, Mexico. (Where my father was from) 😉
And my mother is wearing her traditional dress for Veracruz, her birth place in Mexico.
In May, I get to celebrate my mom 3x times!
My mother’s 71st birthday is May 8.
We celebrate Mexican mother’s day May 10
And we get to celebrate American’s mother day, on May 12.
As you can see I got a lot of celebrating to do in May 😂
The wisdom I have received in celebrating over the years special people and moments is the opportunity to connect with others & do life together!
That’s why I’ve created events where women can experience Business and Pleasure together.
Check out what’s coming up next!
P.S. I’d love to hear what you’re celebrating currently! Leave a comment below to keep me in the loop.
Talk soon!
I see you.
You see me.
I love you,
Zeahlot
