I had no idea I was a CEO until another woman told me who also owned a business. She wore her CEO status the same way she wore her heels! Like a woman who knows exactly what she desires, and is on a mission to make it happen!

I was being interviewed inside the Dash Radio Studio located inside the Dream Hotel, off Selma and Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood

If you’ve been there you’ll remember the exquisite street art on the side TAO with the beauty of woman that keeps you staring.

I was 32 years old. On my 3rd business with absolutely no clue I had been choosing my own path for years.

Finally, there was a word for the character I was playing in my life at that very moment.

Funny, I was actually there to record a podcast with two amazing women talking all things relationships, psychology, and social media.

She leaned over her mic and asked me:

“So it’s your business right? You started it on your own and your the decision maker?”

“Yeah! That’s right. I created it,” I replied.

“Zea, so then that makes you a CEO!”

My light bulb turned on that day. April 4, 2019 …

That day I learned that by choosing to become a business owner I was doing something that not all women choose to do. In fact, most women don’t!

I was choosing the harder path.

The path of freedom with responsibility.

The path of commitment and discipline.

The path of spiritual growth.

My path.

Ultimately, making the choice to become the woman who makes it happen was the first step to creating the life I desired.

I asked myself 3 main questions:

1. What do I desire to experience?
2. Who do I desire to experience it with?
3. Who is the woman I need to become to create the life I desire?

The third question was the hardest for me.

It helped me understand and honor the power I had to create myself and my environment of choice. The kind that turns on the light bulb for you.
