I shared with you last week that I had recently graduated.

Here’s the photo I promised I’d share with you.



As you can see, there is a now and then photo.

The photo you see on the left is probably the visual you get when you think of a graduation.

In this photo, I’m graduating from my master's in counseling program. (2015)

I’m wearing the traditional cap and gown👩🏽‍🎓with my family next to me beaming with pride that their kin had accomplished yet another milestone.

Then there’s a type of graduation where there is no cap and gown.

No cake and no congratulations. No party.

Instead, there is silence.

There is solace.

There is unwithering power standing in truth

That’s what happens when you choose to grow and you need a bigger pot.

A pot that allows you to grow into the tree that bears fruit.

Next week I’ll share with you the fruit that my tree has borne and harvested.
